The winter season is on its way. I always like to get myself ready for the season ahead which is why I wanted to share some tips. Continue reading for how I get ready for the new season ahead.
1.Winterize Your Wardrobe
I always pack away my summer pieces because I have to make room for my heavy (and cozy) sweaters in my closet. This is also a good time to go through any pieces that you’re just not loving anymore. I like to break this down into categories of pieces to keep but are out of season. (That’s where I find somewhere else to store these items in the house, typically the guest room closet). Additionally, I like to organize clothes into donations or giving clothes to friends. (They love that and it makes me happy they’re going to a new home. Lastly, I organize my things into
2. Switch Out Your Toothpaste
I’ve always suffered from extremely sensitive teeth. And because of this, Sensodyne has been the only toothpaste I’ve used in years because of it. It’s my go-to because it’s effective, simple as that. Pain relief is felt in 3 days with twice-daily brushing. Because the holiday season means sweet desserts, peppermint mochas (my fave) and chilly days, my teeth always take a hit.
Thankfully, my everyday toothpaste allows me to eat (and let’s be honest, indulge) in things I may have avoided or limited in the past due to my sensitivity. What I really like about Sensodyne, in particular, Sensodyne Rapid Relief Whitening is that it provides a solution to my sensitivity without sacrificing things like whitening. It beats sensitivity pain fast and the flavors taste good too. It’s the #1 Dentist recommended

3. Update Your Beauty Collection
I don’t know about you guys, but I love switching out my beauty products for the new season. In particular, I love experimenting with shimmery eyeshadow palettes and when the occasion arises, trying out a bold lip. Much like my summer wardrobe, I put my summer beauty products away too. This is when I start to update my beauty cabinet with my winter faves. It makes things so much more organized and helps me get in the seasonal spirit.
4. Take Care of Your Skin
Switching out your skincare is also important for the winter season. Our skin gets super dry in the winter. That’s why switching your products out for more hydrating ones is a good idea. Think hydrating moisturizers, face masks and even sleep masks.
5. Set Some Goals
While the holidays are all about enjoying the spirit of the season, it’s also a good time to stay organized. Especially as the days (and nights) get busier. I like to create daily to-do lists. Sometimes, I even make separate ones (you could have some for work, school, personal, housework, etc). This is the time of year when things get chaotic and remembering to update your passport and/or travel insurance can easily be forgotten. You’ll be thanking yourself you kept up on your to-do’s when it comes time for booking that warm-weather vacay you’ve been dreaming about all winter.

I always switch out my skincare products for the drier Winter months. My skin gets so dry in the Winter and oily in the Summer time! Thanks for the tips (:
