This post is brought to you by my sponsor, “Always Eat After 7 PM”. The opinions expressed below are my own.
As part of my New Year’s Resolutions, I’ve been trying to eat healthier and increase my always-dwindling energy. We’re all homebound due to COVID-19. That’s why I wanted to share some ways how to get healthier. Additionally, I’m also sharing how I’m boosting my metabolism from the comfort of my own home. Continue reading for how I’m going to go about this.
I recently received an advanced digital copy of “Always Eat After 7” by Joel Marion. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing my experience of the book and diet. (I like to think of it as a lifestyle change, really). This book pretty much consists of a three-phase plan. The Always Eat After 7 plan consists of: The 14-Day Acceleration Phase to kick-start the program and see rapid results, The Main Phase where you’ll learn exactly which foods to eat when in order to achieve your weight-loss goals, and The Lifestyle Phase to keep your weight off for good.
Instantly, Joel hooks you by debunking some myths. For instance, I always thought and albeit, lived by the rule that you weren’t supposed to eat right before bed or later at night. With thorough studies and his own experience, Joel explains the myths backed by research. A quote that stood out to me in the book was: “Research shows that the average person’s metabolic rate is no different during sleep than during the day. In short, your metabolism doesn’t slow down at night. Nor does your body store fat at the end of the day. Whether it’s 8 am or 8 pm, you use food for energy the same way.”
Getting healthier and trying new recipes is one of my (many) goals this year. I’m so excited to try this out and take you guys along.
