For todays Wednesday Wardrobe series, I wanted to showcase something that I feel would really help me, especially being a University student who can’t afford too many luxurious items. I pulled together a spring trends guide of items under $100. These items look expensive, but they are well within a University/College student’s budget.
First of all, chambray is back and I am happy about it – I hope you are too. It’s such a versatile piece that can be worn from winter paired with layering pieces such as cardigans, tights, skirts and boots, to spring paired with heels, white jeans and a bright tote. White jeans are a staple in any wardrobe, so to find a pair thats under $100 is quite a steal, take these TOPSHOP baby’s and call it a day..they’re only $76! If you have colder weather right now, I would add a neutral layering piece that can be easily taken off in warmer weather. To really get into the spring spirit, pair your ensemble with a bright and bold bag (from ALDO, only $51!) and to finish this look add some essential accessories; a bright faced blue watch, some pink lipstick (I am living in my pink lipstick right now!) and to for cooler temps, style this look with a pair of booties, in a neutral tone to play down your already bright bag.
Hope this look helped you think of some fun spring trend ideas. And good luck with your exams, if you are like me and about to start midterms round two, good luck! Hopefully this bright look will cheer up your day studying in the library..
