With the winter weather slowly disappearing and Spring on the horizon comes
Since I usually travel carry-on (and try to pack light for quick weekend getaways), I’m all about travel-sized products.
Thankfully, Murale (Canada’s beauty destination and boutique shop) just released their newest Spring Fab and Free Gift with Purchase today in stores. I’ve been a longtime fan of Murale’s gift with purchases ever since I was in high school. It was always so exciting for me to discover new beauty finds and I couldn’t wait to pick up the full-sized products when I ran out of the travel-sized goodies.
Continue reading for my favourite travel-size beauty products.
Makeup Remover
This travel-size makeup removing micellar water by Lancome is perfect for traveling. I don’t go a day without washing all my makeup off, even when I travel, so this is the ultimate essential. Plus, it’s suitable for sensitive skin—score.
Serum
I love using serum and this Clarins Pore Control Serum has definitely helped my tired winter skin. It smooths your skin’s texture and revives its radiance while visibly tightening the look of your pores.
Moisturizer
I’m a huge fan of this Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel and love that it’s oil-free and of course, travel-size.
Eye Gels
Eye gels are one of my latest obsessions and I’m so excited that these Patchology FlashPatch Illuminating Eye Gels were included in the gift with purchase. It’s the perfect way to brighten under your eyes after an exhausting travel day.
Lipstick
Even if my makeup is on the lighter side, I can’t go without lipstick. I just don’t feel like myself when my lips are bare. Thankfully, Murale gets it. I’ve talked about how much I love Stila’s Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick before and I’m so happy a sample size one was included in the gift with purchase. The colour is Perla and it’s so pretty for spring.
Mascara
To help make my eyes pop, mascara is key. This Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara does double duty. The brush grabs, separates, lifts and curls, while the instant formula holds for 12 hours.
Primer
Primer is a must-have for me while traveling because it means more sight-seeing and less touching up makeup. Smashbox makes the best primers and this Mattifying Face Primer Stick is perfect for controlling oil and shine while making sure your makeup lasts.
Sheet Mask
Who else loves using sheet masks while traveling? There’s just something so luxurious about it. The Teaology Skincare Blue Tea Miracle Face and Neck Mask is what self-care dreams are made of.
Want your own gift with purchase tote filled with goodies from Murale? Spend a minimum of $150 and in return, receive this beautiful Spring tote. It’s filled with luxury samples worth over $338. Plus, if you spend $125 or more on almost anything at Murale, you can receive 45,000 bonus Optimum points.
Basically, this is how I see it. If you spend $150 or more, you can receive so much bang for your buck. How? You can receive a tote (which you can also use as your carry-on because it’s gorgeous, pink and big enough to carry your essentials) and receive 45,000 Optimum points. Talk about a steal, hey?
The gift with purchase is available in store from February 21-March 6th.

What are your go-to beauty products for traveling this spring?

It’s so interesting hearing what other people consider to be essentials compared to yourself! Make up remover and wipes are a MUST for me, as is mascara, but truth be told I don’t use most of the other products listed! However, I AM trying to be better at moisturising as it’s currently Summer where I live and my skin isn’t too happy about it 😅

Um, I need to get to a Murale STAT. I just dropped like $75 on two full size products at Shoppers that are nearly the same. I also LOVE stila stay all day. My favourite colour was the fall one, Sienna. How do you like that Rodial sculpting gel? I have only tried the Rodial body lotion and I really liked it.

Great travel sized products! I only travel with a carry on as well so space is a premium.

I love your product choices, the Perla lippie looks so good! I need to ask you about that adorable Rodial Sculpting Gel though- how does it work?

I definitely need to pick up some micellar water for my travel bag! It’s my favorite way to take makeup off after a long day when I don’t want to go to the sink. Also, I’m super intrigued by this Dragon Blood sculpting gel! Thanks for sharing!

How fun! I live in the US and don’t have access to this but Sephora does similar promos every month. I save all those samples for when I travel too. Nothing worst than having to check in a bag!
