I’m all about a good brunchin’, well who isn’t? So when I had the opportunity to try out Glowbal Restaurant’s new brunch menu, it didn’t take much convincing, especially with their very own #Caesarology cart. Pretty amazing. You have the opportunity to build your very own Caesar at brunch, it’s the real Canadian experience I’m telling ya. Choose between vodka or gin, bacon salt or caesar salt, and everything from lobster tails, to prawn shrimp to pickled skewers which can be added to your glass. Another amazing thing about the brunch experience at Glowbal, is the fact that every table receives complimentary mini doughnuts (truth to be told, I’m not a doughnut fan at all, but these were the best damn doughnuts I’ve ever tasted!! So light and flaky, delicious!) and fruit smoothie shooters, it’s a great way to get your vitamins in before digging into your eggs benny. Speaking of bennys, you can get a $10 benny from Glowbal which features The Original (Canadian back bacon), The Florentine (rock shrimp and roasted peppers) each served with mouth watering house hollandaise and potato hash. I had the salmon eggs benny and it was incredible, so good. If you want to try something other than the classic eggs benny, there are many options to choose from, including the executive chef’s Ryan Haapala’s reimagined original brunch favourites: Green Eggs & Ham (the best name!), Lobster Benedict (trying this next time!), Belgian Waffles (my lunch date had this and I had some too, let me tell you, best waffles I’ve ever tasted, so light, flaky and the toppings are amazing.), and Stuffed French Toast, along with classic mimosas and Caesars. That caesar though..My phone case is from Awe Cases and I absolutely love it. Doesn’t it look amazing against Glowbal’s very own marble table? Love.Convinced yet? Seriously, if you’re ever looking for a brunch spot in the city or you have out of towners with you, please visit this place, you will be extremely satisfied.
