Vancouver is home to quite a few beautiful stores and Coach is one of them. What I love so much about visiting the store in Vancouver in particular, is the fact that they carry ready-to-wear pieces straight off of the runway. I was ecstatic to find the amazing Spring 2017 collection hanging there in all its glory.
(I’m wearing Coach’s Spring 2017 collection, this bomber is beautiful and it’s reversible!)
In case you didn’t know, but last year Coach celebrated their 75th anniversary, which is amazing, they started out with just six artisans in NYC and are now known as one of the leading global lifestyle brands out there. Another fascinating fact is that Coach was inspired from a baseball glove, it’s incredible how something so simple can create such a huge passion for beautiful pieces.I love that Stuart Vevers (Creative Director) of Coach has paid homage to the history of the brand with the inclusion of turn locks and hangtags in the new pieces.
I’m seriously obsessed with Coach’s 1941 collection, named aptly for the founding year of Coach. While this collection embodies history, it also presented modernized pieces for the downtown gal on the go. I just love how edgy the collection is while still maintaining a girly, feminine vibe. I’m particularly enamoured with this bag, I don’t typically opt for pink but because of the beautiful embellishment (which is all handmade by the way!) and the edgy fringe, I’m sold.
Another reason you have to visit Coach in Vancouver is because of their new craftsmanship bar, which is a complimentary service offered on select items where you can personalize your Coach pieces, or, if you have an older piece handed down in the family, you can bring that in and they will clean the leather for you all for free. They even have a Dinky bag from 1973 on display, pretty cool, it shows the inspiration for this Spring collection’s dinky bags.If I haven’t convinced you to visit Coach in Vancouver yet, you must go for the amazing service and incredible staff, they’re sweet, friendly and very accommodating.I’m so excited about these gorgeous pieces from Coach’s 1941 collection, they will come in handy so much for traveling, they’re the perfect sizes and I love the embellishments, edgy but on trend.
