The Easiest Colour to Transition from Summer into Fall

Now that it’s officially Fall (can’t believe it) I’m slowly starting to transition with my favourite colour of the season. Something I really want to do for the new season is to step outside of my (fashion) comfort zone and that starts with a gorgeous coat. Continue reading for my September style tips.

What I love about this piece is how versatile it is. You can literally wear it in the spring with white denim and transition it into the colder seasons with darker denim and additional layers. This gorgeous ensemble comes from my favourite Canadian clothing store, Dynamite. They’re killing it this season, I want everything in their fall collection.

I love that my pink velvet heels and Gucci Marmont bag matched perfectly with this outfit, I didn’t even plan that. I think you can wear lighter colours in the fall when you style them with darker or corresponding colours. For all you office gals, I would style this piece with a pair of black dress pants and some neutral heels. It’s a great pop of colour and will surely add a spice to your work day.

I love how this coat fit, because I’m on the shorter side, I was kind of worried that it would be too long on me but it wasn’t. I would even wear this with flat shoes too because it’s just so cute.

I’m also loving this lace up top which is another huge trend for the season ahead. I think it’s very flattering when tucked into jeans and it even looks good with looser fitting pants.
