Since Easter is coming up soon, I thought it would be fun to share a cute little Easter DIY idea. This idea is mostly for adults but kids can help too. If you’re planning on having your girlfriends over for drinks and appies, why not do something different and get a little DIY’ing in? Continue reading for this easy entertaining idea.
I’ve tried out my fair share of different wines in my life but this was the first time trying out Two Oceans. It’s a winery based in South Africa. I tried out the Sauvignon Blanc and the Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot. Both were delightful, not too strong and had a fruity taste to them.
This painted wine glasses DIY idea stems (see what I did there?) from the blogger Handmade Jungle and I think it’s a great idea to spruce up your otherwise plain wine glasses.
Materials:
Stemless wine glasses
Multi-surface paint
Cotton swabs
Instructions
1. Clean your glasses – wash your wine glasses with soap and water and dry with a clean paper towel.
2. Choose your colours – A great way to get creative with friends!
3. Use cotton swabs to dab paint on glass – Start with one colour to create a base of dots on the glass. Then, let each colour dry for about 5 minutes before moving onto the next. Use varying pressure to create different size dots, overlapping colours for an interesting pattern!
4. Bake your glassware – Once the paint is dry, place glassware into a cold oven and turn on for 350 degrees. After 30 minutes, turn the oven off and allow glasses to sit inside for one hour. Voila!
Hope you guys try this and let me know what you think! And a very happy Easter to you all!
