On a whim, a few blogger friends and I decided to take a trip to Hawaii. I had been before but as a child and knew there would be so much to explore going as an adult.
After we made the initial decision, next was deciding where to stay. That’s when we checked out the Royal Hawaiian and knew it was the one.
The Royal Hawaiian is known as “The Pink Palace of the Pacific”. The location is right in the heart of Honolulu and right next to the Waikiki beach. This hotel is seriously Instagram worthy, basically, every corner we turned was another photo opp. The hotel is an oasis, surrounded by greenery, palm trees and pops of pink.
Now onto the gorgeous room. We were fortunate enough to stay in the Historic Ocean Suite where we had the luxury of looking out onto the ocean. There is honestly nothing better than going to sleep with the sound of the waves.

Another thing that I truly loved about staying at the Royal Hawaiian was the location. Because we were right in Honolulu, we were right near the Waikiki strip which is filled with amazing shopping and tons of restaurants. We found our way around easily and even got to explore the city via trolley buses which were right near the Royal Hawaiian. I also love how my pink tee from Shein matches the hotel’s aesthetic, totally didn’t plan that by the way.
We ate at a variety of great restaurants. Some conveniently located in the shopping mall known as the Royal Hawaiian Centre where there is shopping, cafes and restaurants in abundance! We also ate at the delicious Surf Lanai Restaurant in the Royal Hawaiian. We were able to try one item from the main menu and tried out the buffet too! So many tasty options. Try the crab omelet—it’s delicious! I also tried my first Mai Tai at the Royal Hawaiian’s Mai Tai Bar which was located steps from the beach. Not a bad place to enjoy happy hour, hey?
Something else to note was the incredible service. Everyone was so helpful, in particular, the concierge, Jas, who answered our many questions with a smile on her face. She even helped us organize a car rental in no time at all! Efficiency at its finest.
There are many activities you can participate in while staying at the Royal Hawaiian. Some are Morning Yoga, Intro to Surf Lessons (definitely doing this next time), Flower Lei Making, Hula Classes and Historic Walks! Amongst these, we decided to attend the Royal Hawaiian’s Aha’ Aina Luau! I had been to a luau in the past when I was younger and was excited to experience it as an adult. It was very convenient to attend the luau right at our hotel. The evening was filled with lively music, dance, culture and of course, amazing authentic Hawaiian food! The way the luau was organized was perfect and being right near the ocean during the sunset made it all the more magical.

To say this trip was phenomenal would be an understatement. There were so many amazing experiences and staying at the Royal Hawaiian was at the top of the list. Can’t wait to return!
Mahalo to the Royal Hawaiian for such a wonderful stay. I’ll definitely be back.

What a great idea to go on a vacation with fellow bloggers! Not only do they understand your need to document everything, your minds think alike in terms of taking pictures and experiencing various places, activities, and restaurants in a different way. The next time I go to Hawaii, I’ll have to check out this hotel. It looks simply amazing, and what’s better than being only steps away from the beach? Also, love your outfits! So cute!
