Fall Fashion: Trends for the Season

Fall is (almost) officially here and with it comes a brand new season of fashion trends to look forward to. Like Summer, this fall season is definitely going to be different than the previous ones (hello, no NYFW perhaps?) but I think it’s nice to embrace the new season with open arms (and a bit more room in your closets) for new clothing. If there’s anything that gets me excited for a new season ahead, it’s definitely changing out your wardrobe. Even though this fall season is going to look very different, I still want to update my wardrobe with just a few key staples.

Sweatsuits

I’m stilll all about the matching sweatsuits (I’m just exchanging my sweat shorts for sweat pants). In particular, I love this matching grey set from Missguided. I find that wearing a matching set makes all the difference—I just feel so much more put together even though I’m literally wearing the comfiest outfit ever.

High-waisted Straight Cut Denim

I’m also really into high-waisted straight cut denim, they look super flattering and make you look so much taller. Basics are great all year round, and I’m into ribbed anything right now—I find it looks super sleek & put together.

Chic but comfy sneakers

Another coveted item on my fall Wishlist is the New Balance 1990 v5 sneakers. I love the grey colour and they look super chic but comfy at the same time. I feel like that combo is going to be my total fall vibe this year. One of my favourite ways to update my wardrobe for the new season are accessories. I love this Hip Hop Jewelry from Iced Out Jewelry—it’s so glam, especially for (socially-distanced) nights out.

Neutrals

Even though I’m in denial about it being fall (who else is not ready to let summer go?) I’m starting to get excited with transitioning my wardrobe. I’m definitely all about the neutrals for the fall season so I can’t wait to style versatile looks for the next few months. Accessories are key in my wardrobe, and because I’m always on the computer (or my iPhone) I need a pair of Blue Light Glasses to help protect my eyes from all my digital devices.
