Fall is here which means there are tons of new fall fashion trends to shop for the season. I don’t know about you, but with wearing sweatsuits basically every day for the past year (and a bit) I am ready to spice up my fall wardrobe with some new pieces. LEATHER
I am loving that leather is such a staple for this season, and the great thing is that it always comes back year after year. I recently picked up the cult favourite Aritzia Wilfred Melina faux leather pants styled here and I love them. They’re a great fit, and I love the straight leg because it’s a versatile cut. I would definitely recommend these pants, the hype is real.
HIGH WAISTED STRAIGHT CUT DENIM
Another trend that is a classic is a great pair of high waisted straight cut jeans. I recently picked up my first pair of Levi’s and I am so glad I did. The fit is perfect (I have a hard time finding jeans that fit right) and I love how versatile they are.
HALF-ZIP SWEATERS
Another trend I am coveting this fall is half-zip sweaters. I don’t know what it is about this style, but I think they are so cozy for fall and a subtle update on the classic sweater & jeans situation. Sweater weather, here I come.
SHACKETS
Much like last fall, shackets are one of my favourite trends. They are so cozy and surprisingly versatile, think shackets with jeans and a cute top, or even a shacket paired with your favourite cozy sweatsuit.
SWEATER VESTS
Another trend that I am happy is back are sweater vests. They are so easy to style and I love the variety of them out there. I am currently loving cream sweater vests paired with wide-leg pants. So chic!
