A few weeks ago, we were given the distinct privilege of attending London Drugs Cosmetics annual #LDBeauty event. If you’re from the westcoast, than you know this is the best beauty event of the year. There were so many amazing products chock full of goodies perfect for the fall season, but I wanted to give you insight on which ones in particular stood out to me. So far, these are some of my favourite products for the summer season.
This NYX blush is amazing, I love the ombre effect of it, it’s perfect for adding that rosy pink colour to your cheeks. I also love the Face and Body Glitter too, it’s great for attending music festivals when you want to get all festive with sparkles, or any day really, one never needs an excuse for sparkles.
I love these KISS Professional products too which is a new line coming to London Drugs. I’m all about the Contour Kit and it even comes with a handy little guide of how to apply it for those not so keen on being adventurous with this look. I love the gorgeous burgundy and deep purple hues in the lipsticks too, will be on point for the fall season with burgundies and purples taking a spotlight in the upcoming season.
Skincare. Yay. I love NeoStrata because it’s a great line for acne and anti-aging, even though I’m just 23 years years old, I still want to be conscious about my anti-aging habits. The great thing about using NeoStrata is it’s completely harmless for sensitive skin, even if you’re prone to more oily combination skin. I also really liked StriVectin because its very soothing and refreshing on your skin, the Overnight Replenishing Moisture Mask is top notch, I definitely recommend it for traveling because it will help prevent dehydration of the skin. I’ll definitely be taking it with me to Europe in a few weeks!
Mascara madness! I love all these mascaras, they are great because they each have various features, right now I’m using the Annabelle Sky High Length Lash Launcher and I love it, it makes my lashes so full and luscious. I also love the pink hippie and red lip liner and lipstick, once again, perfect for the fall.
This Schwarzkopf shampoo is great for my hair because I have quite fine strands and it helps add more lift and fullness to the roots which is exactly where my hair calls for volume. Of course, the hairspray goes with the shampoo and I can’t wait to try out the hair dye.
You can never go wrong with some fabulous essentials from Revlon and Almay. I absolutely love using the makeup remover cleansing cloths from Almay, they come in handy when I have a ton of makeup that I need to get off before going to bed as they are soft, moisturizing and not greasy at all. Another favourite of mine which I cannot get enough of is the Revlon Photoready Insta-Fix Highlighting Stick, seriously, ever since I have been wearing it I get so many more comments on how much brighter my face looks. It’s such a nice thing to hear after a long day at the office. I also really like the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor because I am obsessed with pink lips (I’m sure you can tell by the multiple of posts I wear with the same lipstick) and this is the perfect hue, not too bright, just right.
I quite like this gorgeous eyeshadow palette too, stunning hues for the summer and of course for fall. I can’t wait to be more adventurous with my eyes in the coming months.
If you’re like me and tend to get lines on your lips from being too chapped or when wearing lipstick, than this Almay Age Essentials Lip Treatment is for you. I swear by this, I use it every single day and it even looks great on its own because it gives off a nice sheen, not too glossy or anything though, which is nice.
I am obsessed with this new line coming to London Drugs, Revolution creates the most stunning palettes. I am loving the blush palette because its perfect for summer but will come in handy for fall too when I want a brighter look on those dreary days. The Vivid Baked Highlighter is gorgeous, gives just the right amount of glow to your skin and the palette is super soft too.

These are Elf products and I’ve gotta say, I’ve always been a fan of Elf’s line, they have such affordable price points and I really do like their products, everything has always lasted so long for me and worked very well. Excited London Drugs carries them. I love using this Mineral Infused Face Primer, it’s the bomb.
I love this Sally Hansen nail polish because it has argan oil in it, it’s perfect for when you have damaged nails from getting your nails done, very repairing and nourishing.
Love the Euphoria by Calvin Klein scent, it smells so good, not too strong, nice and light.
I also really love the Essie gel nail polish, it’s so nice not having to get your nails touched up all the time, great for when you need a DIY mani at home, and I love this purple colour. Obsessed.
