I love fall because sweater weather, PSL’s and of course new beauty trends to try. Continue reading for the fall beauty essentials I can’t live without this season.
I love playing with different lipstick hues and of course, had to bring out my L’Oreal Paris Infallible Paints in the colour Sultry Sangria. I love this lipstick because it’s got quite good colour impact and it’s very moisturizing too.
Of course, a person can’t live without primer, so I wanted to share my thoughts on the Smashbox Photo Finish Primerizer. This primer can actually be used with or in place of moisturizer, pretty cool, especially for travelling when you don’t want to take too many products. I love that this moisturizer is lightweight, it doesn’t feel heavy on your skin and it even has hyaluronic acid in.
No one does brows better than Benefit, and I love the Benefit Foolproof Brow Powder, it creates a soft and natural look. I prefer to use powder because it’s much easier than a pen for me.
With fall weather here, it’s time to play around with darker shades of eyeshadow and I love the colour of this KISS New York Professional one. It’s a single eyeshadow so you can easily tuck it into your purse throughout the day. This one is in the colour Spell.
Of course, Christian Louboutin does product branding better than anyone else. This Les Yeux Noirs Lash Amplifying Lacquer Mascara is amazing, it’s definitely an investment but so worth it. Also, the bottle alone is stunning. You can’t update your fall beauty products without picking up a new perfume. But which one to get? The Christian Louboutin perfume collection is amazing. I tried the Bikini Questa Sera Perfume Oil which is a great scent, light and reminds you of being on a beach. Not bad for a cold rainy day.
I love using a serum every day, and I don’t just use it at night, I use it before putting my makeup on because I find it gives you more of a flawless finish. This serum from Alumier is amazing, it’s designed to reduce the visible signs of aging. It also provides the ultimate in daily protection from pollution and UV skin damage. What I really love about this serum, in particular, is how lightweight it feels, when you put it on your skin, it instantly seeps into your skin and doesn’t make your face feel weighed down. I also love how the top opens and you just simply twist it to close it. So efficient.
I’m a sucker for a good liquid eyeliner. I recommend this Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner. The pen isn’t too big and it makes beautiful strokes, not too thick.
I also love using the bareMinerals Barepro Performance Wear Liquid Foundation, it doesn’t go on too cakey but yet gives you enough coverage, especially with the colder weather. Also, the brush it came with is so soft, I was in the market for a new foundation brush.
I had to throw a few hair products in because it’s always nice to update your haircare routine. I suffer from pretty tangly hair, so this L’Oreal Professionnel Anti-breakage Detangling Spray is a godsend for me. It also helps that it’s quite small, so it’s perfect for bringing on your travels.
You all know I’m a huge fan of Hask and I really love this new 3-in-1 Leave-In Spray which helps to both condition & detangles your hair too. Amongst that, it also adds shine and repairs & controls frizz, perfect for the cold rainy weather.
Who else can’t live without chapstick all year? Well now with the colder weather, my lips are truly in need of care too. This Power Plump Lip Balm by Buxom is amazing, it’s moisturizing and it smells delicious. I like to put this on before my lipstick for extra nourishment.
Obviously, you can’t forget dark purple (vampy) lips for the fall and I’m dying over the Marc Jacobs collection. The dark colour I’m using below is called Scandal.
You also can’t forget a neutral colour too for every day and this one is called True. I love a darker pink, so pretty.
