Now that the warm weather is gone and fall is here, it’s time to give your skin a little extra love. I’ve been discovering a ton of amazing new products, including the Clarisonic Mia 1 cleansing device. Because I have acne prone skin, I wanted to share a few of the products that are working for me lately for my step by step fall skincare routine.
Before using the Clarisonic as my cleanser, I use the Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Cloud Cream to remove my makeup. I love using this product because not only does it effectively remove, but it’s also super hydrating, much needed for the colder weather.
As previously mentioned, I’ve been using the Clarisonic Mia 1 cleansing device a lot lately and it’s been such a skin saver. I’ve used the Deep Pore Brush Head before and I love it for cleansing pores. It’s actually pretty cool, this brush head, in particular, is engineered with graduated dual-action bristles to help flush and dislodge oil and debris that clogs pores.
Recently, I tried the Acne Brush Head and I love it. It’s great for those with acne prone skin, and it even has extra-plush bristles which help provide gentle cleansing. Ever since using the Acne Brush Head, my skin has gotten so much clearer. It also feels way softer and smoother. It’s almost as though most of the imperfections were washed away.
New to Clarisonic? Basically, the bristles of a Clarisonic cleansing brush head move back and forth. This causes it to gently flex the skin and flush out water and cleanser into pores. This process is so effective because it removes the dirt, oil and debris that ages your skin and causes breakouts.
Moisturizer is key, and I’ve been using the Korres Wild Rose Smoothie Brightening Priming Moisturizer. This moisturizer is actually infused with Vitamin C which we all know how good that is for your skin. I also love that this moisturizer brightens and primes at the same time, it’s definitely a triple threat product.
The Stila One Step Serum is amazing, not only does it look cool but it colour corrects and primes. This is the perfect product to start your morning off right.
Lately, my hands and cuticles have been super dry, so having a hand and nail cream nearby is essential. I love this one from Darphin Paris—also the packaging is gorgeous.
I’m prone to getting headaches and get stressed out easily but I want to stick to natural remedies. With that said, this Darphin Paris Essential Anti-Stress Oil has been my go-to.
